West Virginia University offers multiple graduate degrees and dozens of professional development courses for educators who want the flexibility of online learning, the affordability of a state university, and a degree that's nationally recognized. Some programs combine face-to-face instruction with online learning to give the students the best of both experiences. Financial Aid may be available to students enrolled in a degree program.
Professional Development courses are delivered by third party sponsors, who work with West Virginia University to award credit. Professional development credit can not be counted towards an undergraduate or graduate degree at West Virginia University and are graded Pass/Fail. Participants must have a BA/BS degree in order to enroll for professional development credit.
It is the students responsibility to make sure that credits will be accepted towards re-certification.
